Unit Definition
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme needed to polymerize 1 nmol AMP onto RNA within 10 min with ATP as substrate at 37°C and pH 7.9.

Stored at -20°C for 2 years.
Protocol
1. Set up the reaction system according to the following table.
2. After complete mixing, set the mixture at 37°C for 1 h. The end product can be used in various downstream experiments.
Note
The amount of base A added can be adjusted by changing the reaction time. At 37°C, the enzyme can add 30 base A in 30 min while 100 base A in 1 h.
